Another WWR

Monday, March 20, 2006

I almost got this one posted yesterday. Not enough hours in the day I guess. So here is the WWR for this week.

Syncrasy - noun; A blend of different things.

I think that this is a word that one can use in the place of the French word melange.
"The buffet consisted of a sycrasy of delicious treats."
or maybe...
"My craft room is a syncrasy of creativity."

There are many uses for this word. I wonder why it isn't used anymore? I wonder why , when they are printing up new versions of dictionaries, they decide to not include certain words and not others. If anyone knows of the criteria used for these decisions, please let me know.

So there's my WWR post. I still haven't figured out how to post a photo yet. When I get a few extra minutes.
